Can one person apply for the issue of several qualified certificates for the same data?
Yes. One person may apply for more than one qualified certificate. However, it should be remembered that a qualified certificate can be used only by a natural person to whom it has been assigned.
What is a qualified certificate?
Certificate meeting the requirements of the Electronic Signature Act, issued by a qualified entity providing certification services. The electronic signature verified by means of a qualified certificate and made using a secure electronic signature creation device is equivalent to a handwritten signature. A qualified certificate may be issued only to a natural person.
Required documents
The verification process and documents required for the purchase:
UNIVERSAL / personal certificate
Recommended for all persons signing documents (including declarations to the Social Insurance Institution) on their own behalf or on behalf of other entities (enterprises, institutions, local government administration, government administration).
Only verification of your identity based on a valid ID or passport is required.
To what address should I send a set of documents necessary to issue a qualified certificate?

How long does it take to issue a qualified certificate?
The qualified certificate can be obtained even the same day, using the "Turbo" service at selected Partner Points. In the case of using the service, the certificate is issued: on the same day - if the set of documents was submitted and signed by 14:30 p.m., using the "Ekspres" service, the certificate is issued on the next business day - if the set of documents was submitted and signed after 14:30 p.m. 7:XNUMX PM. In other cases, the qualified certificate will be issued no later than XNUMX business days from the date of receipt of the complete formal documents by IBS Poland.
How to recognize Certum electronic signature in PDF / Adobe documents?
Software for handling PDF documents provided by Adobe, such as Adobe Reader, enables the use of a Certum electronic signature. As a result, their signed documents and authenticity of origin can be verified in signed PDF documents and are therefore recognized worldwide as safe and trusted. Thus, they protect users against e.g. phishing attacks.
